Manama : Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, visited the Social Welfare Complex in Hamad Town to check on individuals and families recently accommodated there in light of current developments and to review their needs.

During the visit, the minister met a number of residents at the complex and listened to their observations and feedback, emphasising the ministry’s commitment to continue providing the necessary care and support to ensure their safety and stability.

Al Alawi noted that the ministry’s efforts stem from its national and humanitarian responsibility to provide protection and care for those whose circumstances require intervention and support. He added that teams at the complex continue to work around the clock with full readiness to deliver social, psychological and living support to beneficiaries.
He underscored that the Kingdom of Bahrain prioritises people and will continue to advance the social protection system to ensure a quick and effective response to different situations and emergencies.
