Abu Dhabi : His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, witnessed the exchange of the Strategic Defence Partnership Framework between the two countries.
The framework was exchanged by Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Catherine Vautrin, France’s Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs.
The executive arrangements concerning defence industries were also exchanged by Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablers, and Patrick Péloux, Head of the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA).
The exchange ceremony took place during HE the French President’s official visit to the UAE.
