Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (54) of 2026 restructuring the Government Land Investment Committee, as follows:
Article (I)
The Government Land Investment Committee shall be restructured under the chairmanship of the Undersecretary for Research and Projects at the Prime Minister’s Office, with the following members:
1. Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy (Deputy Chairman).
2. Director-General of Land Registration at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau.
3. Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah).
4. Director-General of the Housing Bank.
5. Chief Investment Officer of the Bahrain Economic Development Board.
6. Director of the Projects Directorate at the Prime Minister’s Office.
7. Director of the Plans Implementation Directorate at the Urban Planning and Development Authority.
8. Marwan Khaled Tabbara.
9. Mohammed Nabeel Mohammed Abulfateh.
The committee members shall serve a four-year term.
Article (II)
The relevant authorities, each within their respective capacity, shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance.
