Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended congratulations to His Majesty, describing the Charter as a historic national milestone launched under HM the King’s leadership and vision. HRH noted that the Charter marked a pivotal stage in Bahrain’s national development, laying the foundations of a comprehensive development process centred on the Bahraini citizen and on national unity and social cohesion as foundations for stability and progress.
HRH said that since its adoption, the Charter has provided a clear framework for Bahrain’s advancement, driving sustained progress over the past 25 years and consolidating wide-ranging development achievements. These achievements, HRH added, have strengthened the Kingdom of Bahrain’s regional and international standing, which reflects HM the King’s forward-looking leadership and continued commitment to empowering citizens and advancing sustainable development across all domains within an inclusive national approach that prioritises Bahrain and its people.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated commitment to building on the achievements of the past 25 years through the unified national spirit of “Team Bahrain”, guided by HM the King’s directives. HRH emphasised continued efforts to advance development in line with current priorities while shaping a more prosperous future for the Kingdom and its people.
In response, His Majesty the King sent a cable of thanks to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, in which His Majesty described the National Action Charter as a defining milestone in Bahrain’s modern history. His Majesty noted that the National Action Charter has played a central role in reinforcing shared national principles, particularly public participation in national development, as part of the comprehensive development process aimed at advancing further progress and prosperity for the Bahraini people.
His Majesty the King commended HRH’s role in advancing the principles and values of the National Action Charter, particularly through chairing the committee responsible for its implementation and overseeing the development of plans and programmes to achieve its objectives. His Majesty expressed pride in HRH’s contributions to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development process and appreciation for HRH’s continued efforts to advance national priorities across various domains, wishing HRH continued success.
