Dubai : His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the international qualifying race for the World Endurance Championship, held at Dubai International Endurance City in the United Arab Emirates.

His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club and member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Arab Emirates, were present.
His Highness won first place in the 160-kilometre race after a strong performance across the five stages of the internationally classified three-star event. Royal Endurance Team riders Mohammed Al Hashmi and Mohammed Abdul Samad also participated in the race.

At the conclusion of the race, His Highness received a commemorative gift from Shaikh Rashid bin Dalmook Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Racing Club, in recognition of his participation at Dubai International Endurance City.
His Highness expressed appreciation for the United Arab Emirates’ continued efforts to develop endurance racing and noted that participation in international qualifying races forms part of the preparation programme for the upcoming World Endurance Championship, scheduled to be held in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia. His Highness highlighted the importance of such events in assessing technical readiness and identifying horses suitable for international competition.
A number of Royal Endurance Team riders also took part in the 120-kilometre and 100-kilometre races.
