Manama : His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, attended the National Day Endurance Cup, held as part of the National Day Endurance Ride Championship organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, with wide participation from riders and stables.
The event was also attended by Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Arab Emirates.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that the National Day Endurance Ride Championship reflects the development of Bahraini sport and contributes to strengthening the Kingdom’s presence at the regional and international levels, supported by the leadership’s continued backing of the sports sector.

His Highness noted that endurance sport in Bahrain continues to record progress and achievements as a result of institutional work and sustained support for riders, as well as technical and organisational professionals, adding that the results achieved reflect structured preparation and qualification based on high standards.
His Highness commended the technical level of the championship, the organisation, and the wide participation across the races, congratulating the winners.
The 120 km race featured strong competition and high technical performance from the opening stages through to the finish.
At the conclusion of the race, the winners of the National Day Endurance Cup were crowned. Team Victorious secured the top three positions, with Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa finishing first, Emirati rider Aisha Badr Al Naqbi second, and Isa Hameed Al Anezi third.
