Manama : Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, affirmed that the qualitative achievements of Bahraini youth across various sectors reflect the vision and significant support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. She emphasised that His Majesty has established youth empowerment as a firm national priority, granting young people the confidence to be true partners in the nation’s development and construction.
The Minister noted that the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, have contributed to a clear government approach that places youth at the heart of national development pathways, providing an environment that fosters creativity, initiative, and active participation in shaping the future of the Kingdom.
She commended the continuous support provided by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), in enhancing the role of Bahraini youth and enabling them to transform their ambitions into tangible achievements. She also commended the support of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), in creating opportunities for youth to showcase their capabilities and creative energy.
On Bahrain Youth Day, Minister Tawfiqi emphasised that the national awareness and solidarity of Bahraini youth represent an honourable model of unity in facing challenges. She explained that this synergy reflects deep loyalty to the nation and its leadership, further strengthening the Kingdom’s security, stability, and development.
The Minister expressed pride in the models provided by Bahraini youth, noting that their continuous achievements reflect ambition and leadership spirit capable of making a tangible difference.
She added that Bahraini youth have proven to be the “gold standard” of national ambition and future-building, driven by their creativity and passion for the nation’s advancement. Noting that youth are the driving force toward a prosperous future, she affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to developing their leadership and supporting their presence at regional and international levels through integrated programmes.
Minister Tawfiqi said that Bahrain Youth Day is a renewed occasion to celebrate the pivotal role of young people in building the future. She called on the Kingdom’s youth to continue their path of achievement and utilise all available opportunities to refine their skills and have a positive influence on society.
