Manama : The committee of the Best Media Coverage Award of HM the King’s Football Cup Final convened here today under the chairmanship of Mohannad Al Noaimi, the Deputy Chairman of the Bahrain Football Association’s Media Committee, to evaluate the participants’ entries.
Al Noaimi lauded the positive interaction of media institutions and sports accounts with the award, noting that as many as 60 entries have been evaluated in the award’s various categories. He also commended the efforts made by the jury, including Ali Al Qamish, Hassan Ali and Noora Abu Shook, to evaluate the participating works.
Mohannad Al Noaimi, the committee chairman, announced the winners of the award, including Al-Balad newspaper (4 prizes), Akhbar Al-Khaleej (3 prizes), Al-Ayam (2 prizes), Al-Watan (encouragement prize), Ala7mar Platform (2 prizes), @sayed_almala3ib account (one prize), b7_sports account (one prize), photographer Abdulla Al Shehabi (one prize) and “malabkom” account (encouragement prize).
The final results of the award were as follows:

– The Best Photo Award chosen by the public (BD 200)- First Place: Mohammed Sarhan- Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper.
– The Best Photo Award chosen by the public (BD 100)- Second Place: Abdulla Al Shehabi- private account photographer.
– The Best Press Report Award (BD 300): Ahmed Kareem – Al-Balad newspaper.
– The Best Analytical Article Award (BD 300): Jameel Sarhan – Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper.
– The Best Creative Video Award (BD 300): Mohammed Abdulla – Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper.

It is worth noting that the award is part of the Bahrain Football Association’s efforts to ensure the best media coverage of HM the King’s Football Cup Final 2023-2024, the premier sports event in the kingdom, by earmarking cash prizes worth BD 4,000 for the winners.
