Manama : Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the second round of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup 2025 commenced at the Military Sports Federation arena at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) in Al Raffa, Sakhir.
The event was organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) in cooperation with the Emirates Arabian Horse Society.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup comprises 10 rounds held across various continents, to support breeders and owners of Arabian horses worldwide and highlight the UAE’s role in preserving the breed’s prominence globally.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, BREEF President, commended the continued support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, noting its important role in advancing BREEF’s initiatives and furthering the development of Bahrain’s equestrian sector.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah also commended the UAE’s efforts in promoting equestrian sports in the region, particularly the support of His Highness Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and and Chairman of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, which has led to positive outcomes and enhanced the preservation of Arabian horses.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah underscored BREEF’s commitment to ensuring the success of Bahrain’s hosting of this prestigious round and extended his best wishes to all participants.

The first day of competition featured strong performances across several categories. In the Yearling Fillies category (one-year-old), Najdiyat Al Shihab, owned by Fadel Al Jamri, secured first place. Alia Al Haddar, owned by Mustafa Abdulrahman Rajab, took second place, followed by IMS Jawaher, owned by Al Mudahahka Stud, in third.
In the Junior Fillies class, TF Hala, owned by Talal Fawzi Kanoo Stud, claimed first place. Lujain AJ, owned by Abdullah Nasser Al Nuaimi, came second, and HK Dina, owned by Mohammed Al Hayki, placed third.
For the Mares category, BFS Shamoukh, owned by Hamad Mohammed Boufarsan, achieved first place. AR Kayan, owned by Kayan Hassan Rajab, followed in second, and Lamar AJ, owned by Abdullah Al Nuaimi, placed third.
