Bahrain : The Martyrs and Wounded Affairs Committee held an event marking the Commemoration Day, annually observed on December 17.
The committee, which is affiliated with the office of Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior, hosted the commemorative ceremony at the Public Security Club.
Families and children of the martyrs of duty attended the event. Gifts and flags were distributed to the attendees who attended also a dinner banquet.
Mohammed Yassine delivered a speech in which he paid homage to the martyrs who died in the line of duty in Bahrain and abroad, highlighting their lofty status in Islam.
