Aarau : One person has been killed and five others injured in a shooting overnight in the Swiss town of Aarau, the Aargau cantonal police said.
According to police, the incident took place at a horse racetrack, where the music event was being held at the time.
Police said on social media platform X: “A search is underway for the unknown perpetrator or perpetrators”.
Local authorities urged residents to avoid the area.
One woman said visitors initially thought the sound of the gunshots was fireworks, adding that the group then hid under the DJ booth.
According to the witness, a woman was hit by a bullet, and police moved all visitors to a gym.
