Manama : Noor bint Ali Al khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), received a delegation of representatives of European Union (EU) Member States.
The delegation comprised the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the ambassadors of the Republic of Croatia, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Kingdom of Spain, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of Poland, who are accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and reside in the State of Kuwait, as well as officials from the embassies of the Italian Republic and the French Republic.
The meeting took place as part of the delegation’s joint official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain and was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Bahrain EDB.
Al khulaif highlighted the growing relations and close partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain, the EU and its Member States across various fields. She emphasised the commitment to further advancing cooperation, particularly in the economic and sustainable development fields, and exploring further opportunities that contribute to advancing sustainable development and supporting economic growth and prosperity.
The meeting also discussed topics of common interest and opportunities to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise and broaden the partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and EU Member States.
The ambassadors commended the Kingdom of Bahrain’s progress and development across various domains and emphasised their countries’ commitment to further strengthening cooperation and partnership with Bahrain in support of shared aspirations and mutual interests.
