Seoul : South Korea and the Republic of Poland agreed to upgrade bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership and boost cooperation in the defence industry and energy supply chains, following talks between Lee Jae Myung, President of South Korea, and Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland.
The two sides agreed to expand cooperation across key sectors, with the South Korean President expressing hope for further advancing mutually beneficial defence industry ties.
President Lee underscored the importance of the continued implementation of the framework agreement concluded between the two countries, describing it as essential to strengthening and advancing defence industry cooperation.
The South Korean President added that both sides agreed to expand cooperation to include energy supply chains, infrastructure, and science and technology.
