Arafat : At dawn on Tuesday, Dhu Al-Hijjah 9, pilgrims began flocking to the sacred plains of Arafat to perform the standing ritual, the greatest pillar of Hajj.
Moving under meticulous multi-sector security monitoring, the faithful filled the transit paths with the sounds of the Talbiyah and fervent supplications.
Law enforcement personnel and field teams managed crowd flows along vehicle and pedestrian routes, while comprehensive medical, ambulance, and logistical networks stood fully prepared to support the pilgrims.
As part of their rituals, the pilgrims will perform the combined and shortened Dhuhr and Asr prayers at Namirah Mosque, adhering to the established Prophetic tradition.
Following sunset, the massive assembly will begin a smooth, coordinated exodus to the plains of Muzdalifah.
There, they will perform the combined Maghrib and Isha prayers and spend the night in worship until the dawn of Dhu Al-Hijjah 10, concluding a critical phase of their spiritual journey.
