Manama : His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, directed the organisation of the second edition of the Al Fursan Sports Tournament during the holy month of Ramadan in 2026, following the positive outcomes of the first edition.
His Highness noted that the first edition achieved positive sporting and social impact during Ramadan, which provided an incentive to proceed with organising a second edition and further developing the tournament as an established sporting platform.
His Highness highlighted that the tournament contributes to encouraging youth participation, providing a competitive sporting environment, and supporting sports federations in identifying and developing promising talent across various sports.
His Highness also noted that the continuation of the tournament reflects ongoing support for quality sports initiatives and their role in promoting healthy lifestyles and constructive youth engagement within the community.
