Manama The Manama Health Congress and Expo 2023 (Manama Health), and the 15th Arab-German Health Forum, conjunctly held at the Exhibition World Bahrain, concluded today.
More than 100 mega local and international companies participated in the three-day congress, attended by over 400 health professionals. The accompanying expo also attracted more than 5000 visitors.
Senior Bahraini officials, including Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Hassan Jawad, Health Minister, and Sameer Abdulla Nass, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman, in addition to Arab health ministers, and representatives of the German Health Ministry, attended.
The participants lauded the outstanding organisation of the Manama Health Congress and Expo 2023, and the 15th Arab-German Health Forum, noting that they provided platforms to discuss the latest developments in the fields of healthcare.
BCCI, the strategic partners in organising the 15th Arab-German Health Forum, underlined its keenness to organise and participate in such events, as the healthcare industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world, and investment in it has become a necessity to confront potential challenges.
Participants from all over the world affirmed that the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain is keen to achieve Sustainable Development Goals as reflected in its commitment to taking effective steps to keep pace with scientific developments in the health field, and ensure that quality health services are delivered to everyone.
