Manama : Yusuf bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Labour and Minister of Legal Affairs, chaired the first meeting of the committee organising the 41st Outstanding Workers Honour Ceremony, organised by the Ministry of Labour under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The ceremony is scheduled to be held in December.
The meeting reviewed the initial preparations for the ceremony, during which outstanding workers nominated by their employers from various workplaces and production sectors across the Kingdom will be honoured. Several labour pioneers and establishments recognised for employing Bahraini nationals will also be honoured.
The minister said that the patronage of His Majesty the King reflects the great importance attached by His Majesty and the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to national talent in the private sector and to promoting a culture of excellence and innovation across workplaces.
He commended the competence and professionalism demonstrated by Bahraini workers and their effective contributions to supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
Minister Khalaf said that honouring outstanding workers conveys appreciation for distinguished national role models and reflects the continued partnership between the government and the private sector in supporting Bahraini talent and encouraging continued excellence, innovation, and contribution across various productive sectors.
