Manama: First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sport Authority (GSA), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received President of Bahrain Padel Federation Fahd Fawzi Kanoo, in the presence of GSA Vice-President HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Askar.
The meeting was held within the framework of His Highness’ interest in supporting federations and following up on their development to bring about more achievements in the sports sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness received a report from Fahd Fawzi Kanoo on the federation’s work. He stressed the importance for the federation to concentrate in the upcoming phase on continuing the development and organization of the padel game in the Bahrain.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa issued edict 12 regarding the re-appointment of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Padel Federation in its current session 2021-2024.
According to the edict, the board shall be re-appointed under the chairmanship of Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo. It has in its membership Youssef Abdullah Mohammed Juma’a, Mohammed Khamis Ali Al-Romaihi, Habib Jawad Habib Al-Khayyat, Khalid Mahmoud Al-Rayes, Ali Ibrahim Abdulrahim Sharif, Ali Khalifa Khalid Al-Matar, and Mohammed Abdullah Abdulmalik.
The Chief Executive of the General Sports Authority and the Secretary-General of Bahrain Olympic Committee shall implement the edict which shall come into force from the date of its issuance.
