Manama : Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, led Bahrain delegation at the 29th Partnership Summit 2024 in New Delhi, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry, with wide participation from global representatives.
The minister emphasised the summit’s key role in boosting regional and international cooperation among participating governments in developmental areas.
Fakhro noted India’s significance as a key economic nation with a rich history and expressed hope that the summit will enhance economic partnerships and establish new cooperation frameworks.
The minister met with Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, and they discussed cooperation in industry, trade, and investment, and expanding partnership horizons with the India.
This year’s summit will discuss key topics, including trade and the future of industry, sustainability and climate, technology and development, and enhancing international cooperation for global development.
