Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, today met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, on the sidelines of the 20th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue.
His Royal Highness affirmed the longstanding Bahrain-Saudi relations, which continue to advance under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, noted the efforts of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in enhancing the Bahrain-Saudi partnership.
His Royal Highness noted the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in enhancing regional security, peace, and development, and serving Arab and Islamic causes.
His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdoms’ commitment to furthering bilateral collaboration across various sectors to achieve shared aspirations.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest were discussed.
For his part, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to the partnership and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The National Security Advisor, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Commander of the Royal Guard, HH Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
