Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (73) of 2025, on the restructuring of the National Taskforce for Combating Communicable Diseases, based on a proposal submitted by the Minister of Health and following the approval of the Cabinet.
Article (l)
The National Taskforce for Combating Communicable Diseases shall be restructured under the chairmanship of the Minister of Health, with the following members:
1. Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health at the Ministry of Health
2. Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Services at the Ministry of Education
3. Director of the Animal Health Directorate at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture
4. Director of the Inspection Directorate at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce
5. Director of the Media Office at the National Communication Centre
6. Head of Medical Services at Primary Health Care Centres
7. Chief of Internal Medicine at Government Hospitals
8. Head of the Healthcare Facilities Regulation Department at the National Health Regulatory Authority
9. Head of the Infection Control Unit at the Bahrain Defence Force Royal Medical Services
10. Chief Medical Officer at King Hamad University Hospital
11. An infectious diseases consultant from private hospitals, to be selected by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health
12. Head of the Therapeutic Division at the Health and Social Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Interior
The Head of the Communicable Diseases Department at the Ministry of Health will serve as rapporteur of the Task Force.
