Jeddah : His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met in Jeddah with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), they reviewed the longstanding relations between the two countries and means to enhance and develop them across various domains in a manner that achieves common interests.
They also discussed the latest regional developments and the repercussions of the military escalation in the region, including the risks to freedom of international navigation and the security of energy supplies, as well as its impact on the global economy, in addition to coordinating joint efforts to enhance regional security and stability.
Both sides affirmed that the continued Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the targeting of vital and civilian infrastructure constitute a dangerous escalation that threatens the region’s security and stability.
