Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has affirmed the depth of the long-standing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, praising the level reached by the two brotherly countries’ cooperation in the economic and financial fields, reflecting the keenness and interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of the UAE.
The minister made the statements as he participated in the official delegation that had accompanied His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, during HRH’s official visit to the UAE today.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the outcomes of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s UAE visit, and the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed on its sidelines, affirming their importance in bolstering bilateral cooperation at all levels, and pushing joint coordination towards more complementarity in order to reach common goals that would benefit the two brotherly countries. He also underlined Bahrain’s keenness to ensure the continuity of its fruitful cooperation with the UAE at all levels.
The Minister of Finance indicated that the results of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit to the UAE will further boost the distinguished financial and economic cooperation between the two countries, noting that the existing robust cooperation between the two countries has yielded multiple successes, including mainly the consolidation of investment opportunities, as well as cooperation in financial and banking, taking the sector into new heights.
