Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait, who is visiting the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, was present.
His Majesty the King affirmed Bahrain’s pride in the strong bonds and longstanding ties it shares with the State of Kuwait, which continue to grow stronger and closer through mutual commitment to develop and strengthen them across all domains.
Sheikh Fahad Al Sabah conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, as well as his best wishes to the Kingdom and its people for continued development and prosperity under His Majesty’s leadership.
His Majesty the King requested Sheikh Fahad Al Sabah to convey his greetings and best wishes to HH the Amir and to the Kuwaiti people for continued progress and prosperity.
His Majesty commended the leading role and contributions of HH the Amir in supporting and developing the distinguished Bahrain-Kuwait ties, as well as Kuwait’s commendable positions towards its Kingdom of Bahrain and its efforts to strengthen joint Gulf action.
His Majesty the King also highlighted the strong cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and Kuwait across all sectors, including security, which serve the interests of both countries and further strengthen their longstanding ties. His Majesty emphasised the importance of continued consultation and coordination between the two countries, particularly amid the current circumstances in the region.
For his part, Sheikh Fahad Al Sabah expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for the reception and generous hospitality. He also expressed appreciation for His Majesty’s efforts and continued commitment to strengthening the longstanding ties and cooperation between Bahrain and Kuwait, commending Bahrain’s commendable positions under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
