Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree-Law (42) of 2026 promulgating the Railway Regulation Law, based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The law stipulates that the accompanying Railway Regulation Law shall apply without prejudice to relevant international agreements, treaties and protocols in force in Bahrain. The minister responsible for transportation affairs shall issue the executive regulations and decisions necessary to implement the law within one year of its entry into force.
The Prime Minister and ministers, each within their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this law, which shall come into effect on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
