Abu Dhabi : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, discussed bilateral relations and means to advance cooperation and joint efforts, particularly in the economic and development sectors, in support of the two countries’ development priorities and shared interests.
The meeting took place during His Majesty the King’s visit to the United Arab Emirates.
His Majesty the King and the UAE President reviewed regional and international issues of common interest and discussed developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to strengthen regional security and stability for the benefit of the region’s countries and peoples.
His Majesty the King commended the UAE’s steadfast support for the Kingdom of Bahrain under all circumstances which has contributed to strengthening Bahrain’s efforts and capabilities in addressing various challenges.
His Majesty the King and the UAE President expressed pride in the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates and reiterated their commitment to strengthening joint cooperation, particularly in addressing the shared challenges facing the region.
