Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, today paid a visit to the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Upon arrival, HM the King was welcomed by the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. HM the King was accompanied by the Royal Court Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
HM King Hamad was welcomed by the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, and a number of senior BDF officers.
HM the King, the Supreme Commander, was informed about the future plans and programmes of the BDF’s various branches and units, expressing pride in the BDF and its brave personnel who have set the best examples of loyalty to the nation, courage and discipline.
HM the King expressed thanks to all the BDF affiliates for the tremendous efforts they are exerting to protect the kingdom’s glorious national achievements, attained thanks to the citizens’ dedication and their solidarity.
HM the King, the Supreme Commander, wished the brave BDF personnel further success in carrying out their patriotic tasks inside the kingdom and abroad, as well as ever-lasting progress and prosperity to the kingdom.
