Manama : His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), received Javier Tebas, President of La Liga.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), attended the meeting.
HH Shaikh Nasser commended Tebas’s efforts in elevating Spanish football, noting how La Liga has grown into one of the world’s premier leagues with a global fan base, including many fans from Bahrain. His Highness highlighted the importance of sharing expertise and building long-term partnerships to further enhance Bahrain’s sports sector.
Javier Tebas expressed his appreciation for His Highness Shaikh Nasser’s leadership in advancing Bahraini sports, particularly football, and conveyed his hopes for continued success and growth in the Kingdom’s sports initiatives.
