Manama : Humanitarian and voluntary work is one of the values that characterize Bahrainis, said His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, His Highness Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing unwavering royal care for charitable and humanitarian work.
He made the statement as he received at Al-Wadi Palace the students of the (Nasser Al Bina‘a) project, which was launched by the Ibn Khuldoon National School), in an initiative aimed to revamp and furnish the homes of needy families.
He commended the project that embodies the mettle of Bahraini youth and epitomizes their love for voluntary, charitable and humanitarian work, which are authentic values that Bahrainis inherit from father to grandfather.
“The initiative reflects the status of Bahraini youth and their active role in community service and their keenness to provide a helping hand to needy families” he said.
He praised the students themselves who are carrying out the restoration of homes by themselves, hailing the national and humanitarian dedication.
He commended the commitment of Ibn Khuldoon National School, hailing its role since its inception, in supporting student and youth initiatives to achieve the noble goals for the advancement of society.
He commended the school’s string of social, humanitarian and national initiatives, projects and activities to create a promising generation armed with science, knowledge and good human and moral values.
