Washington : Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, met with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham during His Highness’s visit to Washington D.C., the United States of America, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, His Highness highlighted the outstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, underscoring the importance of the mutual visits and agreements between the two countries, noting in this regard the significance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which represents an advanced framework for strategic cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and its role in supporting joint coordination efforts on issues of mutual interest.
The meeting also discussed regional and international developments, and explored means to enhance coordination and consultation between the two countries on issues of mutual interest, in a manner that supports bilateral cooperation and promotes security and stability in the region and the world.
