Manama : His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), held an event celebrating the youth leaders participating in the global youth competitiveness initiative, “Hope Network,” which includes 29 ministers, government officials, UN representatives, and organisations supporting youth.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC); His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) and Vice Chairman of the High Authority of Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club and member of the SCYS; Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, Secretary-General of the SCYS; and Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, attended the event.
HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to launch global initiatives that strengthen international alliances, empower youth to drive progress and prepare them as future leaders.
His Highness noted that the “Hope Network” aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to elevate Bahrain’s international standing by investing in youth through initiatives and programmes. This vision is supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who consistently emphasises the importance of empowering youth and involving them in development processes.
His Highness emphasised Bahrain’s leading role in establishing the “Hope Network,” with a focus on raising global awareness about the importance of inspiring hope and coordinating efforts to meet youth aspirations. HH Shaikh Nasser noted that the network aims to build an international environment that empowers and supports young people. His Highness added that the signing of the “Charter of Hope” by participants, underscores their shared commitment to advancing youth initiatives across member states.
