Manama : Under the patronage of Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, the final phase of the joint air exercise (Sky Warriors 2) was conducted. The Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF) carried out the exercise with participation from various arms and units of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), National Guard, and Ministry of Interior.
The exercise was attended by Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force; and Air Vice Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Commander of the RBAF.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasised that the joint exercises reflect His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision and contribute to raising the combat readiness of participants. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the continuous follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the directives of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander in Chief of the BDF.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad lauded the high efficiency and advanced level demonstrated by the participants, noting that these exercises simulate reality in execution and confirm the progress of the participating entities in achieving desired objectives. The exercises included interception applications, air support, search and rescue, and various defensive operations, which helped hone military capabilities and enrich field experiences for participants.
During the final phase, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad closely followed the exercise proceedings, which showcased a high level of planning and professional execution, achieving desired goals and enhancing cooperation among participants. The exercise contributed to raising the level of military efficiency and combat readiness within the framework of programmes and plans designed to develop training and qualification.
