Manama : His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), attended the final race of the 2025/2026 horseracing season, held at the Club’s racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir.
The race was attended by a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, along with a large audience of equestrian sports enthusiasts, marking the conclusion of the season.

His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa was crowned winner of the Bahrain Gold Cup by Yaser Sharifi, Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, while Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa was crowned winner of the Stewards Cup by Paul Barton, Chief Steward.
Juzer Taher, Managing Director of LuLu Hypermarket, presented the Owners Cup to the winning owner, Mohammed Khalid Abdulrahim, while Basema Al Mahroos, Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Tazweed, presented the Champions Sprint Cup to the winning owner, Hussain Ebrahim Al Afoo.
Khaled Hussain Taqi, Member of the High Committee of REHC, presented the first round trophy to the winning trainer, Yousif Taher, while Ahmed Abdulghani, Member of the High Committee of REHC, presented the second round trophy to the winning owner, Hadi Ebrahim Al Afoo.

Kamal Murad, Member of the High Committee of REHC, presented the seventh round trophy to Allan Smith, while Yusuf Osama Buheji, Member of the High Committee of REHC and Acting Chief Executive Officer, presented the ninth round trophy to the winning trainer, Paul Smith. Abdulrahman Bukhamas, Director of Studbook at REHC, presented the eighth round trophy to a member of Al Mohamediya Racing.
The final race featured strong competition reflecting the advancing standard of horseracing in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with horses from several stables sharing victories in the concluding event.
