Manama : His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club’s (REHC) High Committee, attended the fifth race of the 2025–2026 season at the club’s racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir.
The nine-round race was held over the cups of the Arabian Horse Institution for Equestrian and Veterinary Services, with the attendance of a number of Their Highnesses, representatives of the Arabian Horse Institution as the official sponsor, and spectators.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman received the REHC Cup from Yusuf Osama Buheji, Chief Executive Officer of REHC, following the victory of Cracksking, the Al Adiyat Racing horse that won the eighth round.
Winners of the Arabian Horse Institution cups were also announced. Hassan Al Madhoob, Chief Executive Officer of the Arabian Horse Institution for Equestrian and Veterinary Services, presented the first-round trophy to the winning trainer Adel Abdulla, while Sanjay Reddy, Regional Manager for the Middle East, Turkey and India at Red Mills Group, presented the third-round trophy to the winning owner Abdulla Sami Nass.
HH Shaikh Nooh bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa received the fifth-round trophy from John Connolly, Chief Operating Officer at Red Mills Group.
The fifth racing event marked the opening day of a two-day programme, with the second day of races scheduled for Friday, November 28. Thursday’s schedule included competitions across all nine rounds.
