Manama : His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, crowned Muharraq champions of the Zain Bahrain Basketball League after defeating Manama 3–1 in the final series.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali presented the league shield following the fourth match of the finals, held at Khalifa Sports City Hall in Isa Town, in the presence of Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Basketball Association, along with senior officials and a large audience.
He also awarded gold medals to Muharraq players and staff, and silver medals to Manama.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali congratulated Muharraq on securing the title, commending the team’s performance throughout the season, which culminated in winning both the league title and the Khalifa bin Salman Cup.
He also commended Manama’s performance in the final series and praised the organisation and strong attendance, highlighting the continued development of basketball in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
