Manama : Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, following the issuance of a Royal Decree appointing him as Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications.
The Foreign Minister congratulated Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa on the royal trust granted by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He commended Dr. Shaikh Abdullah’s dedicated service as Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he contributed effectively to advancing Bahrain’s foreign policy and strengthening cooperation with both regional and international partners. The Minister also expressed his best wishes for Dr. Shaikh Abdullah’s success in his new position.
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah expressed his gratitude to the Foreign Minister for the support and guidance he received during his tenure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which helped him fulfil Bahrain’s foreign policy objectives under the directives of the leadership and government.
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah acknowledged the cooperation of the Ministry’s diplomats and administrative staff, which was instrumental in carrying out his responsibilities, and wished continued success for the Ministry and its staff.
