The Embassy of India organized an Open House on 21st June, 2024 which was chaired by Ambassador H.E. Mr. Vinod Kurian Jacob. The Embassy’s Community Welfare team along with the Consular team and our panel lawyers were present. More than 30 Indian nationals participated in the Open House which was conducted in English Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
The Ambassador extended greetings on the festive occasion of “Eid al-Adha” to all the community members present in the event. The Ambassador briefed on the inaugural majlis session organized by LMRA which focused on “working together campaign”. This initiative seeks to improve awareness of the rights and duties of employers and expatriate workers in Bahrain.
The Ambassador recalled the recent fire incident occurred in Manama. He also suggested the community members to abide by the directions of the General Administration of Civil Defence due to the increase in temperature.
Ambassador invited community members to participate in the celebration of 10th International day of Yoga held today at Khalifa Sports City Stadium from 6.45 pm onwards. It was a productive interactive session. The grievances/issues of the Indian community were successfully addressed; some resolved at the open house, while others will be taken up at the earliest possible.
