Manama : The Electricity and Water Authority has developed the monthly fixed discount calculator service as a new digital service aimed at making it easier for subscribers to automatically and quickly know the value of the monthly fixed discount before applying for subscription, based on the subscriber’s average consumption over the previous period in accordance with the applicable tariff, thereby improving service efficiency and enhancing the user experience.
Under the upgraded service, it has been converted into a fully digital service through the Authority’s website and the “Tawasul” app, without the need to visit service centres or contact the call centre. The upgrade has also achieved a 100% digital transformation of the service, with it now being provided automatically.
