Bahrain MOH announced the death of a 44-year-old male expatriate, taking the country’s total deaths to 14.
The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time.
The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.
The kingdom has 9,138 confirmed cases of which 4,587 cases have been discharged and there are 4,537 active cases of which 7 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health.
There are currently 25 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment.
Bahrain has so far conducted 281,204 COVID-19 tests for the early detection of the virus.
