Manama : The Ministry of Interior announced that the maritime curfew for fishing and leisure boats has been revised to run from 6:30 pm until 4:00 am, effective today, July 16, until further notice.
The ministry said the decision forms part of measures to protect the coastline, enhance maritime safety, and safeguard seafarers and sea users. It also builds on existing measures regulating maritime movement and aims to strengthen preparedness and ensure the safety of those at sea.
The Ministry of Interior urged all sea users to comply with the revised curfew hours and avoid approaching the coastline during the restricted period to ensure their safety and avoid legal action.
