Manama : Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East, launches a new Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night on Thursday, December 11.
The excitement continues for motorsport enthusiasts with the “Open Track” activity for cars and motorbikes taking place on Friday, December 12.
The Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag competition is set for Thursday from 7 PM to 12 Midnight, with registration taking place in the circuit’s car park.
The Rolling Drag is one of the newest additions to BIC’s varied line-up of thrilling activities. Similar to the Ibrahim K. Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights, it offers participants the chance to take part with their own cars or motorbikes on the quarter-mile strip, which is accredited by the NHRA Worldwide Network.
The main difference in the Rolling Drag is that participants do not start from a standstill, but instead begin at a rolling speed of 80kph. It is the ideal activity to invite a friend or more and challenge them in a series of head-to-head runs.
As with all BIC activities, the highest safety standards are followed at all times for both drivers and spectators.
Speed lovers will also be able to drive their own cars or motorbikes on the Grand Prix circuit from 9am to 4pm on Friday, offering an unforgettable and exhilarating experience.
Advance booking is essential, as spaces are limited.
