Bahrain has reported 508 new cases of coronavirus, among 317 expatriate workers, 189 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 2 are travel-related, after conducting over 8,700 additional COVID-19 tests on Wednesday.
The death toll stands at 69, as 2 new deaths were reported in the kingdom, one on Wednesday and the other on Thursday.
Meanwhile, 527 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported.

The total cases have driven to 23,570 of which 17,977 have recovered, which means that over 76 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 5,524 active cases.
Also, there are 162 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 37 are in a critical condition.
So far the country has conducted 502,763 tests, as per the government statics.
