London : Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, participated in the Education World Forum 2026, held in the United Kingdom under the theme “Education for a Shared Future: Peace, Planet, Purpose and Pathways”, with the participation of officials and experts from 125 countries.
Dr. Al Jahromi highlighted the achievements of Bahrain’s higher education sector and its institutions across academic, educational and research domains. She noted the continued support accorded to the higher education system to enhance its readiness and keep pace with accelerating global developments.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Secretary General held meetings with representatives of educational institutions and international organisations to discuss opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of expertise in higher education and academic innovation.
The meetings also explored means to enhance bilateral cooperation and support the continued development of the higher education sector.
