Manama : The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the drone attack targeting two vessels at Damietta Port in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which resulted in fires aboard both ships.
In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the attack is considered a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security, stability, and global energy supplies.
The Ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt and its unwavering support for all legitimate measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, national security, and vital infrastructure. It also renewed Bahrain’s call for the immediate and complete cessation of such terrorist attacks, respect for the sovereignty of states and international law, and efforts to preserve regional security, stability, and the safety of civilians.
