Bahrain : Bahrain beat Morocco 34/23 in the international friendly handball championship, being held in Al Qatif, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The tournament is part
of preparations for the 20th Asian Handball Championship which will start on January 18 in Dammam, in Eastern Saudi Arabia. The Asian championship is a qualifier for the 2023 World Men’s Handball Cup in Poland and Sweden.
Led by Iceland coach Aron Kristjánsson, the national squad led the Moroccan team 19/8 at the end of the first half of the match which was played at Prince Nayef Sports Arena.
The national team will play other friendly matches during its upcoming training camp in Hungary, ahead of the qualifying phase.
