Tunisia:  Two humanitarian rescue ships pulled 394 migrants from a dangerously overcrowded wooden boat in the Mediterranean overnight on Sunday in an operation lasting about six hours, a Reuters witness said. The German and French NGO ships Sea-Watch 3 and Ocean Viking rescued the migrants in Tunisian waters 68 km (42 miles) from the North African coast, near oil facilities and other ships. McKeown’s teammate, 29-year-old Emily Seebohm, came out with the bronze during the race. But during the medal ceremony, she didn’t stay on the third step on the podium for long. TOKYO — American BMX racer Connor Fields remains in a Tokyo hospital after a crash on Friday at the Olympics. Today officials from USA Cycling revealed Fields sustained a brain hemorrhage and broke a rib during his semifinals heat. During the race, Fields slammed headfirst into the ground following a jump that was leading into his first turn. He remained motionless after the crash.
