The UAE has been connected to the EU’s Digital Covid Certificate system, making travel easier for residents vaccinated in the Emirates. The decision means people vaccinated in the UAE will be able to use Al Hosn app in the same way EU Digital Pass has been used since it was introduced during the summer. Bahrain : Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) will be holding a spectacular fireworks display on December 16 as part of the Kingdom celebrations marking the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne. Abu Dhabi : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today arrived in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, to attend the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021, held at Yas Marina Circuit. Upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was received by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the UAE, HH Lt. UAE : Prayer ceremonies will be held in January and over the summer to bless the Hindu temple being built in the Jebel Ali area of Dubai. The prayers are to purify the shrine and ready it before the official opening in September next year. Nine kalashas – brass fittings that will cap the domes – are being shipped from Ujjain city in central India this month. Dubai government has become the first in the world to become fully paperless. The Dubai Paperless Strategy, launched in 2018, set out to end paper use by government completely by December 12, 2021.
