Bahrain : The Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by the Bahrain Handball Federation, will host the 18th Asian Men’s Junior Handball Championship, which will be held on August 13-22, 2022. The tournament will also be a qualifier for the 2023 IHF Men’s Junior World Championship, to be co-hosted by Germany and Greece. The Executive Committee of the Asian Handball Federation designated the kingdom as hosts of the tournament during its meeting in Kuwait last week thanks to its preparedness, modern sports facilities, hotels and distinguished organisational experience. The Bahrain Handball Federation had hosted many Asian championships and achieved outstanding success.

Bahrain : Chief of Tax Evasion Crimes Unit at the Public Prosecution has stated that the Unit had completed its investigations into seven cases of tax evasion, in breach of the provisions of Law (40) of 2017 regarding the Excise Tax, and referred the suspects to the Criminal Court. Kuwait : Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry today expressed in the strongest terms the State of Kuwait’s condemnation of the Houthi militias’ continuing threats to the security of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted in a statement, posted by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that the latest of these ongoing threats was the targeting of southern Saudi Arabia with three drones. Abu Dhabi : The UAE strongly condemned terrorist Houthi militia’s attempts to target the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with three drones carrying bombs, which were intercepted by Coalition forces. Bahrain : Labour and Social Development Ministry has announced that as many as 642 Bahrainis with different academic qualifications had been employed in 403 private companies and institutions between December 26 and 30, adding that 353 nationals had also been trained during the same period. In a statement, the Labour Ministry revealed that since the launch of the second edition of the National Employment Programme in 2021, 26,344 job-seekers have been recruited by 6,826, private companies and 12,841 trained, exceeding the initial targets of 25,000 jobs and 10,000 training opportunities.
