Acclaimed singer Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai on Sunday. She was 92. The singer, called the Nightingale of India, was laid to rest at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park with full state honours. India : The singer known as Melody Queen of India ,  has been given the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour,  Padma Bhushan, the Padma Vibhushan and the Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee Latha Mangeskar passed away on 6th Feb at 8.12am  at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai.
