Jakarta: An earthquake of 6.4 magnitude struck off Indonesia’s Tanimbar islands in Maluku province on Thursday, the country’s geophysics agency said, adding that there was no tsunami potential. The agency said the quake’s epicentre was at a depth of 97 km (60.27 miles), Reuters reported.

Manama : The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) announced the graduation of the first cohort of the Cyber Security Training Program in partnership with SANS Institute, which spanned eight months and provided specialized training delivered by experts in the field. The graduates also received two Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC) upon completing the program. Hanoi : At least eight people were killed after a van collided with a tractor-trailer at an intersection in Vietnam on Tuesday, a government official said. “Six people were killed on the spot, two died in the hospital and twelve others were injured, including three in a critical condition,” vice chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee Khuat Viet Hung. Manama: Works Ministry announced that the maintenance works of expansion joints on Wali AlAhd Flyover on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway necessitate the closure of the slow lane leading to Hamad Town and two lanes will be provided for traffic.
